How planning a destination wedding with Andrea Coots works
Andrea Coots guides couples from the first idea all the way to their dream wedding, in four steps: share your vision, choose your resort, have your guests book with her, then travel and celebrate. Because she is paid by the resorts, her service is free to couples and their guests.

Start with the basics: the vibe you want, your budget, a rough guest count and possible dates. You don’t need to have a destination picked. If you have no idea which country yet, that is where Andrea starts.

Choose your resort
Andrea sends curated resort options and coordinates site visits until one feels like yours. Her recommendations come from weddings she has already planned and the resort wedding teams she knows: she has traveled throughout Mexico and the Caribbean to experience resorts and meet their wedding teams, and her couples have married at most of the major wedding resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and the Caribbean.
She also shows you the group rates and perks your group can qualify for at each resort.

Guests book with Andrea
Your guests book their travel directly with Andrea: one link, one point of contact. Room changes, name swaps, payment plans, transfers and guest questions all go to her, not you, whether your guests are seasoned travelers or first-timers.
Large guest lists are her specialty, and she keeps every detail straight when 50, 75 or more guests are booking.

Travel and celebrate
Andrea coordinates with the resort’s wedding team, requests the little extras and keeps everyone on the same page. Transfers, room requests and last-minute changes are handled, so you just show up.
If plans change, from flight delays to airport closures to a rescheduled date, she rebooks shuttles, rooms and dates so your celebration still happens.

What working with Andrea costs you: nothing
Andrea is paid by the resorts, not by you or your guests. Because she books so many weddings with them, she can secure excellent group rates, and your group can earn perks like:

We simply provided a budget and where we were hoping to go. She sent us numerous resorts along with their wedding packages, and outlined the best options where we got the most but stayed in budget, including estimated flight costs! We were traveling with families with young children, and she factored a family-friendly resort into every option. Everyone we traveled with raved about her.
